Types of Myanmar Visa 

(1) Transit Visa:

Transit Visa is issued to those who are heading for their destinations via Myanmar that can make a temporary stop in Myanmar for 24 hours. The visa fee is USD 20/person. 

(2) Entry Visa:

Entry Visa is issued to foreigners who come to Myanmar for employment, business and social matters. The visa fee is US$ 40 and allows 28 days stay only. 

(3) Tourist Visa:

Tourist visas are issued for SINGLE entry and are valid for (3) months from issue date. You can stay in Myanmar only up to twenty-eight (28) days. Visa fee is USD 40/person.

(4) Business Visa:

Business visa is valid for (3) months. But period of stay in Myanmar is restricted to ten weeks ( 70 days ) from date of arrival. Anyway, it can be extended. 

(5) Gratis Diplomatic Courtesy Visa (GDC):     

Diplomatic visa is issued only to diplomatic official and their families. Person holding this visa is allowed to stay in Myanmar during his period of assignment. This visa is offered Gratis.

(6) Gratis Official Courtesy Visa (GOC):

Courtesy visa is issued only to diplomatic official and their families. Person holding this visa is allowed to stay in Myanmar during his period of assignment. This visa is offered Gratis.

(7) Stay Permit: 

A foreigner can stay up to the limited stay period. Any person wishing to extend his stay may do so, by applying for and obtaining permission.
